About Penelope

Meet Penelope, a sweetheart of a Yorkie mix girl who is 4 years old and weighs in at a healthy 18 pounds. She is being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Oh my goodness, I don't know where to start with Penelopes sweet and adorable personality.. Penelope came into rescue on 5/19 and from the minute she came into her foster home she shined with sweetness and so much love. We discovered after a couple of days she had an upper respiratory infection and we immediately started her medical care.. The thing about Penelope is that after being in a shelter and becoming ill she never stopped being a kind gentle soul and showed us how much love and patience she has. In my time as a foster I haven't seen the most laid back, calm, sweet, snuggle bunny, all in one baby. And after having a beautiful heart she is potty trained, but beware she is a lap baby and knows how to snuggle comfortably at night time. I can't say enough about this very laid back girl.. She gets a long with other dogs but doesn't show much interest in playing, just hang out and follow her foster mom everywhere..I am her life.. She does like men but haven't seen her around children. Oh yes, hardly barks�'�|if so only for a short minute Penelope would love a family that is home most of the time since she is quiet and loves human company, someone that is looking for a calm low key girl�'�|. She is currently getting vetted and will be spay once we are completely over her medications. You won't be disappointed with bringing this girl into your home.
