About Sonny

Hey there! My name is Sonny and I'm a gorgeous four-year-old, 25-pound Cocker Spaniel boy who is looking for a forever home with a pool and a fenced in yard. I LOVE to swim and PLAY fetch. I am devoted to my person and get along great with humans but no young kids please (only dog-savvy kids 12 and up). I will be your shadow and happily sit in your lap soaking up all the love. I like to sleep in the big bed and I'll greet you every morning with enthusiastic kisses and make sure you always feel protected. I don't need to be glued to your side but like to be close by and will always protect our house. I'm a sporty guy with a lot going for me! Besides swimming and playing ball, I know my basic commands - I've even been through basic training. I'm fully housebroken and crate trained, so I'm ready to move right in. I do best with a fenced yard where I can safely stretch my legs and burn off some of that youngster energy. I find leash walking stressful especially when bikes, cars and other dogs pass by. I'm working on it but need a patient, experienced person to continue with my training. Now for a little real talk - I get along with some dogs, but I will correct other dogs when I think they're out of line. I do best meeting other dogs off-leash in a calm environment but honestly, I would be happiest as your one and only pup. And sharing my toys? Not really my style.
