About Tilly

Tilly is great dog but isvery protective of her humans and property. I rescued her 7 months ago and right after, I learned she would need a TPLO surgery. I got her the surgery and after a long recovery, she is doing great. However, I'm now being told that she will probably need another surgery on the other back leg at some point. I'm a single mom and have already gone into debt for Tilly. I live in an apartment and have learned that this is not a good environment for Tilly to thrive in. She is a working guardian breed and needsa yard to roam and explore. I had her DNA tested and she is 100% Presa Canario and is very true to her breed. When making this post I had to check off her breed and Presa wasn't even listed so I selected Mastiff. Thought I should clarify that, she is all Presa. She walks great on a leash, loves car rides and is very sweet with her people. She is very protective when she's home, when she is out with us, she's fine with other dogs and great with people she doesn't know. Couldn't be better during vet visits or trips to the pet store. Tilly is very smart, will test you, she needs boundaries clearly laid out for her. Very food motivated.
