About Kaona

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Kaona's Story Kaona was born on January 25th, 2021, and I was there for his birth. He is my first dog, and both of his parents were purebred pitbulls who have since passed away, making our bond especially meaningful. I had Kaona until my freshman year of high school, when I temporarily placed him with a family member to help manage his skin sensitivities. Since then, I've moved to a home that does not allow pitbulls, and that family member is now struggling with dementia and can no longer care for him. Recently, Kaona survived being hit by a car. He has broken front and back legs on his left side, a dislocated hip, and has undergone surgery for his injuries but his front leg consists to be an injury prone problem. Im looking for a loving place to care for him. My financial situation has made it difficult to get him the help he needs to become the dog he once was. Kaona is a calm, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle, especially with women. He has a sweet personality, a droopy face, and beautiful brown eyes.
