About Buddy

We have been taking care of irresponsible people's abandoned and neglected dogs for years. But now, terminal illness forces us to find loving forever homes for our sweet rescues. Buddy is a big baby, sweet as can be and has no idea that he is too big to be a lap dog! He is goofy, soulful and has lots of personality! His big bark is a great alarm when strangers approach the door, but he is not aggressive, or overwhelming, despite his strength. Buddy is affectionate to all, but is more apt to obey a male voice. He could benefit from formal obedience and manners training, but he is smart and responds to treats. Buddy would be a wonderful and happy companion forever. Although he would adjust to a family with several pets, We think he would appreciate being a solo or parter to one doggie girl friend. The four-legged girls love him! It would heartbreaking to have him leave, but his dad does not want to leave the world without being assured that Buddy has a wonderful forever home!
