Sugar is exactly what her name suggests - pure sweetness wrapped up in one adorable medium-sized package. This lovely Australian Cattle Dog - Staffordshire Terrier mix weighs about 28 pounds and is full of affection once she feels safe and loved. Sugar and her sister Princess were surrendered by their owner to a North Carolina shelter, and they are now looking for the forever homes they deserve. Like many dogs who have experienced sudden change, Sugar can be a bit shy at first meeting, but underneath that cautious beginning is an incredibly gentle, loving cuddlebug. She adores other dogs, enjoys being around people, and has a calm, tender personality that makes her easy to love. Once Sugar trusts you, she's happiest curled up nearby soaking in attention and affection.
