About Razor

Meet Razor! Razor is a sweet, well-trained, and much-loved 3.5 year old mixed breed pup looking for a calm, kid-free home. - 100% house trained - loves his crate - great on a leash - great with recall/place commands - likes walks and chasing soccer balls�'۬ Razor is 55lbs of long limbs and curly tail. He's neutered, healthy, and up to date with vet visits and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He's a pretty low-key companion who loves being around his people, but can stay home alone for a stretch without getting into trouble too. Razor's only issue? He's reactive to children coming into his home and/or getting too close to him when he's in enclosed spaces (like parked in a car or clipped to a run). Even after extensive reactivity training, it's just not safe for him to live with children- we need to rehome this sweet dog because he recently bit my daughter in a moment of household chaos. (She's fine, just can't risk it again.) For someone who doesn't regularly have children in their home, Razor's reactivity is a manageable issue: he can be crated when young guests visit, he'll tolerate a muzzle, etc. And his reactivity to kids is generally limited to kids in his home or invading his space- he's fine outside. Razor is an especially great match for a single or partnered woman, but any calm/stable adult-only household will be a good fit.
