#SneakPreview #NeedsRescue #BeagleSOS Hi friends & @followers Long Beach Animal Care Services has a friendly little senior #Beagle mix named Socks that is in urgent need of help! @highlight Socks is an approximately 10 year old male Beagle mix that was picked up by Animal Control Officers on 6/1/26 along with another dog after reports of 2 stray dogs near Houghton Park with appearing injured... & that was no lie because poor little Socks is in pretty rough shape :( Socks has a very large testicular tumor with likeliness of a prostate tumor, a decent sized ulcerated mass on the last toe of his right hind leg, an embedded toe nail, possible and/or spinal abnormalities, and severe dental disease with lesions on each side of his face as a result. In short, Socks is in need of a lot of help beyond the scope of a shelter with limited resources & needs that help like yesterday. Due to the extent of his condition and degree of urgency for his masses and dental concerns, Socks needs immediate rescue with placement no later than end of day Friday June 12th 2026.
