About Willow

We are significantly downsizing our housing situation and can only have one dog. Our other dog is getting old and needs more attention all the time. Willow is a healthy 5 yr old lab mix that we got from the Humane Society in 2021. Willow has lots of energy, loves her chew toys, and will fetch the toys endlessly. She LOVES to have her ears rubbed. She is also pretty anxious and can be scared of other dogs. Because she is anxious, she can take a while to settle. Her chew toys help her settle down. She will sometimes bark at other dogs at a distance, but is better after a few moments of getting used to the other dog. Willow has NEVER been aggressive toward a person or other dog. Several times per year, she goes to the boarder for a few days. They report that she does fine with the other dogs. We have a cat and they get along great. She loves to run in the yard and chase squirrels and other critters. Willow would do best with someone to walk her regularly and be a reassuring and calm presence. We are very hopeful that we can find a good home for Willow as soon as possible.
