About Max

Max is a handsome 3-month-old Swiss Mountain Dog mix with a gorgeous tricolor coat and those classic big puppy feet that promise he'll grow into a lovely medium-to-large dog. This sweet boy is the gentle counterpart to his sister Opal. Max is playful and affectionate, loving his toys and always eager for treats. He's a great eater and enjoys a good wrestling session with his sister, though he's generally the more submissive and easy-going of the two. Like Opal, he's very quiet and well-mannered - you'll rarely hear him bark. He's crate-trained, does great in his pen, and was perfectly calm and well-behaved at his recent adoption event. Max is a gentle, good-natured boy who would thrive in a loving home with older children. He's still building confidence in new environments and would do best with a family ready to give him gentle guidance, plenty of play, and lots of snuggles as he grows.
