Norman was born 08/07/2025 and weighs 50 lbs . He is a 10-month-old Coonhound who was surrendered by his owner. He was clearly loved, but unfortunately was not the right fit for their home. Norman is good with kids and other dogs. He has lots of energy and is every bit the typical hound curious, active, and always ready for an adventure. Today, he entered our Cell Dog Program, where he will begin working on his training and learning skills that will help him succeed in his future home. Norman will be looking for a family with hound experience that understands the breeds unique traits and exercise needs. He would make a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, or participating in activities that will keep both his mind and body active. We look forward to watching Norman grow and cant wait to see him find the perfect home! Norman is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. Its an amazing program! We will start taking apps but she will be in the program for a few weeks so please be patient.
