About Beau

Beau (Max) Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Beau (foster name Max) is currently in Texas and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. We can arrange transport soon after he has an approved adopter or foster. Meet Beau (Max) Beau is a 15-week-old Great Pyrenees mix (best guess Labrador Retriever or Great Dane) who is ready for a fresh start. He has been with a rescue in Texas since birth alongside his mama and siblings, and is now ready to begin the next chapter in a home of his own. He is a silly, playful, and affectionate puppy who loves people and enjoys being part of the action. Beau does well with dogs, has been exposed to a young child in his foster home and does very well, and is expected to adjust well to a variety of home environments. He has not been exposed to cats in foster care, but with his age and temperament, he is likely to adapt well with proper introductions. Beau is still learning and working on his leash manners-he gets very excited when it's time to explore, but with patience and consistency he is eager to learn. He is crate trained and doing well with potty training, though he is still a young puppy and may have occasional accidents as he continues to learn. He is very food motivated and eager to please, which will make ongoing training a fun and rewarding process. Beau is scheduled to be neutered prior to transport to Wisconsin. Once we secure a foster or adoptive home in the Wisconsin area, we can arrange transportation for him to join the Mutt Life Dog Rescue family. He is likely to be a very BIG boy when fully grown, but he is just as big on personality-full of joy, silliness, and love.
