My friend has been trying to find a new home for one of her German Shepherds but so far has been unable to do so. Owner is an older woman who lives in an apartment, works full time and is unable to give the time Billie needs for training/exercise. Owner adopted her first GSD,, Tahoe, as a puppy then an old coworker reached out and asked if she'd be willing to take on another German Shepherd, Billie. Billie is a female, 3 and a half years old, last vaccinated in Sept 2025 and has been spayed. Owner is Billie's 3rd owner sadly. Even though Billie went to a trainer for 3 weeks before coming to Owner, she has regressed a lot and will require some re-training. Billie has shown signs of dominance over and some aggression toward other dogs and Owner does not have the strength or capacity to help in the way Billie needs. We believe Billie might have been abused in one of her prior homes by a man because she exhibits signs of nervousness around men she does not know. She does warm up to men but initially she is hesitant and skeptical. Owner loves Billie a lot and only wants the best for her, which would be a loving and caring home willing to help Billie. Billie is truly a sweet, loyal, loving dog and with the right understanding, training and care, she will be an amazing companion for someone very lucky.
