About Bjorn

Bjorn is a 3 year old German Shepherd with panda coloring. He comes from AKC registered parents. I own his parents and they were both health tested and passed OFA, Pennhip and genetic testing. He is a happy go lucky boy looking for his forever home. He was sold as a puppy and unfortunately was abused and severely neglected. He lived with a woman and was abused physically by her boyfriend. He was only 67lbs when I took him from her and had dual ear infections. I got him vetted immediately and now he is thriving and ready for his forever home. Because he was abused he can be nervous around men until getting to know them. I have adult sons and he loves them. He just needs time when he is unsure or nervous. He does not have to live with a female only but he will need to get to know any males. Once he's comfortable with them he's fine. If he is nervous he will avoid the situation. He is crate trained, excellent on a leash when I take him out with me. At home he is off leash and runs and plays on my property. He is a big ham and goofball. He loves attention and to be in your lap. He is 120lbs but he believes he's a lap dog. He will need to be with someone who is experienced with this breed or similar breeds. Due to what he went through for that year, he sometimes is unsure in situations and you need to be able to read his body language. He has never bitten anyone and is not aggressive at all. He is a playful boy and will come with all of his toys especially his outside balls. He loves to throw them in the air and self entertain. He especially loves to play with my other dogs. He is excellent with other dogs and loves to play. He is good with small and large dogs. He doesn't bother cats. He ignores them and does his own thing. He is more interested in hanging out with people or other dogs. He's healthy and has no health concerns. He will sleep in his crate but prefers of course to sleep by you.
