About Ruger von Ranger

Ruger von Ranger is a very handsome 1-2 year old German Shepherd. A quintessential well-built male (with the straight back some prefer), Ruger has a wonderful personality in addition to his shepherd good looks. He is affable and friendly with everyone at the rescue, with gentle puppy energy, happiest when with his human companions. A smart learner, this boy already knows his 'sit' and 'down' commands and takes treats gently. He's mid energy and seems up for anything. Around other dogs, Ruger has a sensitive soul. Though he is curious and enjoys exploring in playgroups, he can be a bit shy when faced with pushy personalities and will look to his people for reassurance and safety. He is looking for a home where he can continue to blossom and join you for a lifetime of adventures together. (No cats please.)
