**OCAS DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG! WE ARE HELPING REHOME HIM THROUGH OWNER AND TRAINER** Radar is a 2yr old, neutered, male, 55lb bundle of lover bug! His DNA results show he is 55% Pit Bull Terrier, 14% Boxer, and 31% Supermutt (we suspect there may be some Schnauzer mixed in because of his wiry hair and beard). We are assisting in rehoming him due to family separating. Radar has been working extremely hard overcoming his fears of life itself, to become the best boy he can be! He has made so many great strides! His biggest issue was triggered by fear. Now, he can walk into stores, be around many people, and as long as he has a strong handler, he will feel safe and can take on the scary world with confidence. By strong handler, we mean a handler that is confident themselves and can show Radar that he is safe in their hands. Radar is endlessly playful, affectionate, and sweet every single day. His tail literally never stops wagging-even in his sleep. Around our house, he answers to nicknames like 'Bubba' and 'Jughead' because he is such a goofy, lovable character. The decision to try to rehome him is absolutely heartbreaking for us. Radar is well past the puppy stage. Although he loves chewing on his toys, he has never chewed anything he shouldn't. He is fully house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He does not shed and is very easy to bathe. He absolutely loves adventures-especially car rides, boat rides, jet ski rides, and anything involving water. Radar attends Harmony Doggy Day Care at least once a week, and the staff there adore him so much that he's welcome anytime, even without a reservation. Radar has also been very easy to leash train and responds well to commands. He loves fetch and tug-of-war, although his one hilarious weakness is his terrible mouth-eye coordination. Catching a ball mid-air is nearly impossible for him-but that never stops him from trying! At bedtime, Radar is happy either sleeping on the bed with us or curled up in his dog bed nearby. Once he's asleep, he is out for a solid eight hours. If you would like to meet him, PLEASE email his owner at : [email protected] and you can then speak with the trainer who they have been working with.
