Bonded Pair of AKC Standard Poodles Seeking Loving Home - Oakhurst, California My grandpa passed away recently and he left behind his two beloved Standard Poodles. This has been very hard for me, and I'm trying to do right by both him and his dogs by finding them a safe, loving home with someone who is familiar or wants this type of breed. There are two dogs: %BD' Black Standard Poodle male (intact), DOB: 10/20/2016 (9.5 years old) %BD' Red Standard Poodle female (believed to be intact), DOB: 10/20/2018 (7.5 years old) Both are AKC registered. Located in Oakhurst, CA. Temperament & behavior: %BD' Both are friendly with people, other dogs, cats, and children %BD' Energy level: Active-they love to run and play everyday, but also enjoy relaxing and being calm indoors %BD' House trained: Yes %BD' Crate trained: No %BD' Leash trained: Yes, but they can pull and would benefit from additional training %BD' Grooming: Both are used to regular grooming %BD' Vehicles: Both love car rides %BD' Affection: Both are very affectionate. They love to cuddle and are used to sleeping on the bed with their people They've been together for over 7 years and are very bonded, so I'm only considering homes willing to take them both. I will not separate them. I'm not in a position to keep or continue to properly care for them, but they meant everything to my grandpa, and I want to honor him by placing them in a home where they'll be loved and well cared for. I am ensuring that they go to a serious and committed home. I am going to continue to foster them myself until a proper home can be found for them, I do not want to surrender them to a shelter where they may be separated or scared. If you or someone you trust might be a good fit, please reach out, I really need help with finding them a good home. I'm happy to answer questions and provide more details. Serious inquiries only, please.
