About Baoge

Baoge, Mandarin for 'burp,' is 17 lbs of love and fluff. He is a 3 year old that we took him in from an elderly woman who didn't treat him the best. He loves nothing more than to sit on your lap and rub his head on you. He has tons of energy and loves to play every day. And he's huge! Not overweight, just really big boned. He requires an experienced cat owner who can handle his bad moments. He thinks it's okay to play with humans by biting and scratching. He often stalks and pounces on his owner's feet, ankles, and legs. Knowing how to respond to scratches and bites appropriately is key. He is also taking two forms of anti-anxiety medication, given twice daily. He also gets anxious in small spaces, like apartments, and would thrive more in a home with plenty of space to roam. We would be willing to give you all the supplies you need - automatic litter box, feeder, cat tree, and more. We just want someone to love him the way he deserves and, as first time cat parents, we are not able to. He is the sweetest boy and deserves the world.
