About Momo

Reason for rehoming: Life / Because we have to / Because she is loved. Looking for a home that is missing someone to spoil. Someone looking for the 'Princess Tomboy' of the household. Momo knows all basic commands (sit, down, stay, wait). She is crate trained, and walks on a head halter. Prey drive is high. She likes to chase squirrels, rabbits, and other things that move. She has been around cats, and once she catches up to the cats, she hasn't done anything to them in the past. She is a generally healthy, happy, smart as a whip dog. Her favorite things: -Neck, chest and belly rubs. -Ruling the household. -Pushing boundaries. Her least favorite things: -The word 'no' -and the mosquito zapper (who knows why) Momo has lived all her life with other dogs. She has never been a 'Dog park' type of dog however. She prefers having control over situations, and every time at first encounter with any new dog, she barks and growls asking for space. She has never been aggressive, but she is vocal regarding space until she gauges the other dog(s). She would do best in a home that has previous experience with Berneses or other large breed dogs. She loves to run and do all things the human wants to do. She would likely excel in agility or herding training. Even someone that likes to hike a lot would be great! Looking forward to meeting a family that feels she is right for them. While we are really grateful to dog rescues out there, we are not interested in placing her in a rescue situation. She is not in any danger, and will stay with us for as long as it takes to find the right family for her. A video call will be required to meet you.
