SOPHIE is a 1-year-old, 13 pound Yorkie mix who was surrendered because her owner can no longer care for her. SOPHIE has a calm, easygoing personality and a sweet nature that makes her easy to love. She is affectionate, cuddly, and enjoys being close to her people. She is so quiet that you sometimes forget she is there until she follows you to your next room. She likes to keep an eye on her people, is happiest when she can be nearby, and likes to be included in her person's daily activities. She has a little bit of separation anxiety and does not like spending much time alone. SOPHIE was in a home with other dogs and is good with other dogs. We think that she could be an only dog as long as she doesn't spend too much time alone. Her experience with cats and kids is unknown, although her foster mom believes she should do well with older kids. SOPHIE is housebroken and leash trained and enjoys going for walks. At night, she sleeps in the big bed with her family, right where she wants to be. %9D%A4%8F SOPHIE is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
