About Chief

Chief is such a gorgeous boy! His good looks turn heads everywhere he goes. But Chief is more than just a pretty face - he's a calm, confident companion who's ready to find a family of his own. We know he had a home at some point as he came in wearing a collar alongside Priscilla A053539, but he had no owner information on him and no one ever came looking for him. Chief is the total package! He's great on a leash, already knows how to sit on command, and he's done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups, though he does have a naturally dominant personality with his furry friends. When it's playtime, Chief gets so excited for a squeaky toy! He'll happily chase after it with enthusiasm, proudly scoop it up, then decide it's more fun to leave it behind and see what else there is to explore. He's just as happy investigating interesting smells on a walk as he is soaking up attention from you. With his lower energy level and confident personality, Chief would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend to share life's adventures.
