About River

Meet River. River is a 6-month-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. This handsome boy loves being around his people-whether he's exploring outside, playing with a buddy, or curling up for a cozy nap. He's currently working on potty training and is doing really well! He does most of his business outside but is still learning, so he'll need a patient home to help him stay consistent. River is also crate trained-he may not love going in at first, but he settles quickly and keeps his space clean. River is very playful and loves interacting with both people and other dogs. When he gets excited, he can be a bit jumpy and mouthy, especially during playtime, so he'll benefit from continued training and guidance. He's very sweet with kids but would do best with a family that can help him learn gentle play and good manners. After he's had his fun, River is all about the snuggles. He sleeps through the night and is happiest when he's close to his people. If you're looking for a fun, loving pup who will keep you active and then happily cuddle up by your side, River might just be your perfect match
