Meet Andy Andy is a striking 11-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful red coat, bright white markings, and all the intelligence and loyalty you'd expect from his breed mix. Raised on acreage in a large pack setting, Andy grew up in a busy rural environment surrounded by other dogs, cats, and constant activity, making him incredibly social and well-adjusted with animals. Now settling into foster care, Andy is beginning to learn the structure and routine of home life - and he's embracing it with his sweet, affectionate personality. He loves people and truly wants to bond with his person, thriving on connection, companionship, and attention. Because Andy has spent his life in a free-roaming ranch-style environment, he will do best with an adopter who understands active, intelligent working breeds and can provide guidance, consistency, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment. He would thrive on acreage, a ranch, or with an active family committed to including him in everyday adventures. Andy can become very attached to his people and is still learning that it's okay to be alone sometimes, so he may need patience and reassurance as he adjusts to a new home and routine. With consistency and love, he is already showing how eager he is to learn and settle in. Andy is friendly, well-socialized, and has been lovingly handled throughout his life. He's now ready for a forever home where he can focus on his people and grow into the loyal companion he was always meant to be.
