About Oakley

Some stories begin with heartbreak, but Ivy and Oakley are ready for theirs to have a happy ending. These sweet siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road, left to fend for themselves at an age when they should have been safe, loved, and cared for. Thankfully, animal control picked them up before tragedy could strike, and they were given a second chance when rescue stepped in to show them what every puppy deserves to be loved. Despite their rough start, Ivy and Oakley have never lost their joyful spirits. They wake up every day ready to play, explore, and make new friends. Their tails seem to wag nonstop as they chase toys, wrestle with each other, and discover all the fun that puppyhood has to offer. But when the excitement of playtime winds down, their favorite place is right next to their people. These two are expert snugglers who love curling up beside you for cuddles, soaking up all the affection they missed out on early in life. Ivy and Oakley are learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. With every belly rub, every kind word, and every loving touch, they're becoming more confident and trusting. Now all they need is a forever family to continue showing them how wonderful life can be. They may have been left behind once, but they deserve a future where they are cherished every single day.
