We are looking for a new landing place for our girl, Ruby. She is a fun-loving, 3.5-year-old brindle Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix who has been spayed, vaccinated, and is up to date on flea/tick. Ruby is very good with sheep and goats, though she would be best suited for a poultry-free, single-dog household where she can soak up all the attention. She does pretty well on a leash, and would be fine as an indoor and/or outdoor pup. She is housebroken. Unless you don't mind her roaming and returning, a fence would be in order. We have four other livestock guardians on our farm, including three of her pups who are now all larger than her. She has struggled to find her place in the new hierarchy and can sometimes be reactive. This is demonstrated through moments of energetic play or lunging, barking, and sometimes going after our other dogs (particularly when bones in the yard are at stake). She backs off immediately when called upon. When she is not with other dogs, she is AMAZING - smart, sweet, loving, and doting.
