Selena (a.k.a. Lena) is a 5 year old, 16 lb. female Havanese mix. She came to the shelter when her family could no longer care for her and then to the Humane Society and now to Cherished Tails. Selena can be a little nervous with new people, which may mean she gets overlooked at adoption events. But given a good environment this girl will blossom after a short while into an active, playful and affectionate dog. Her general health at this young age is very good including her vision, hearing and teeth. Selena is a good eater and a fairly brisk walker so she would probably love a nice daily walk. She can be described as moderately high energy, yet she spends plenty of leisure time lying on her bed or the couch. She gets along with dogs, so far, but it is unknown about cats. Selena learned the doggie door fairly quickly and is well behaved. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She may not show her true personality at Meet and Greets but this girl will make someone with just a little patience (and walking ability) a very good and loving pet.
