German Shepherd

Hi! She is roughly 7 years old. I've had her almost two years, I got her off Facebook from someone who claimed she couldn't be taken and they immediately gave her to me the next day no questions asked. When we met her, you could tell she had just had puppies and it definitely wasn't her first litter. But she adjusted immediately and was the biggest baby ever. I was homeless for 6 months and was bringing her everywhere I could with my kids. I finally found a place but it was a firm no dogs because the landlord said his previous tenant had let their dogs pee and poop all down the heating vents and he just can't risk it anymore. She's been to 4 different homes who had dogs, one she was there for about a month and then she came back to me, one brought her back an hour later and the other wanted her gone and made me pay to get her back. The one had a 6 month puppy and she said her puppy would pretty much instigate nova after she'd snap and it would just make it worse. She had her about a month before I got her back. The second person that took her didn't even have her an hour before she brought her back saying she didn't even feel comfortable introducing them (but she also did tell me she didn't any other dogs). And then the last people had her a week, kept trying to scam me for money to get her back. They said they used to train Germans and could work with her but turns out they just kept her locked up in a room and switched both dogs on and off and if she showed 'aggression' she'd be locked back in the room. I've owned many shepherds so I know the difference between being dominant and being aggressive. She did just fine when I introduced her to dogs. I do know for a fact, when my male dog was in heat and tried something SHE DID NOT let any type of anything happen so honestly in my heart, I think the last two people that took her tried to breed her and it didn't work out. She's old, I'm pretty sure she's fixed and will not go for any of that. I have a 1 year old and 5 month old, as well as 3 step kids 11,9,5. She's been amazing with all of them, even though she really doesn't pay much money to them like with the cats. I have no worries about her being around any age kid, honestly. She does have her limits and if she doesn't get her space she will let anyone know to leave her alone. She is older and doesn't like to be messed with constantly but she has never given me any reason to not trust her with my kids. I've always believed animals are just like humans and they are allowed to have their boundaries respected. she hasn't had her shots, one of the people said they took her to the vet though and she was healthy. The only health issue is she has pannus which is a her eye tissue is pretty much starting to over her eye. It's really bad in her one side but not the other but I was told by a vet eventually it'll fully cover her eye and she be completely blind. I know she can't see somewhat on that side so she's very on guard with her side but there's not much to do for it and it's very common in her breed and age. I am more than willing to work with you on getting her vetted if need be!. She has very very bad separation anxiety when let alone, and she can't just be put in a wire cage, she needs like a heavy duty cage
