Rehoming Athena the�%A0Purebred Siberian Husky Hello everyone. It is with great sadness that I announce I am looking to rehome my purebred Siberian Husky. Meet Athena! Athena is a purebred Siberian Husky, 5 years and 2 months old, with a black and white coat and uniquely two different colored eyes. She has the classic husky personality. She is smart, very energetic, and full of life. She loves to 'talk' (as huskies do!) and will happily chat with you. She enjoys playing fetch, being active, and exploring the outdoors. She's very food motivated which makes her eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. She absolutely loves treats and responds well to positive reinforcement. Athena enjoys playing with other dogs and can get along well with them. She has been around cats but can play a little rough, so a home without cats or with careful supervision, would be best. Athena is kennel trained and potty trained. She can sit, lie down, and show you paw. She tends to pull on walks and would benefit from a harness or gentle lead halter. Like most huskies, she thrives with structure, consistency, and plenty of physical and mental exercise. A home familiar with the breed and able to meet her energy needs would be ideal. She forms strong bonds with her people and has so much love to give. This decision hasn't been easy, but my goal is to find her a home where she can truly thrive and be happy. Athena is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on flea/heartworm preventative. If you're looking for an energetic, vocal, playful, and intelligent companion, Athena could be the perfect match for you. A small rehoming fee will be required. Located in Sacramento, CA.
