About DAZY

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet DAZY! This adorable Chihuahua mix girl was born into rescue on 3/21/2026. Her pregnant mom Daffodil had been found in the country with a bunch of other dogs. Daffodil is a Chihuahua mix who weighs about 14 pounds, dad is unknown (although we suspect it's look-a-like Clover who was found with her). DAZY weighs 2.8 pounds and has proudly appointed herself the social director of playtime. She carefully chooses which toy everyone will play with and then waits for her sisters to chase her around the room. A good game of chase is her favorite activity and she always keeps the fun going. She is playful, outgoing, and full of puppy personality. DAZY loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster's puppy. She would love a home with another young playful dog to help keep her company. After playtime, she is always ready to settle in for a nap before starting all over again. She is doing very well with using puppy pads and spends her days playing, exploring, wrestling, napping, and repeating the whole routine again. At night, DAZY sleeps quietly in a puppy pen with her sisters. DAZY is already microchipped and has had two sets of puppy vaccines. She needs her third set in about two weeks. That will be handled by the rescue, along with her spay when she is old enough. Her rabies vaccine will also be done at that time and all of that is covered in the adoption fee. Because she is not fully vaccinated yet, DAZY cannot go outside until after her third puppy shot to keep her safe from parvo. Since she has pending vet appointments, she is local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
