LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet DIVA! This adorable Chihuahua mix girl was born into rescue on 3/21/2026. Her pregnant mom Daffodil had been found in the country with a bunch of other dogs. Daffodil is a Chihuahua mix who weighs about 14 pounds, dad is unknown (although we suspect it's look-a-like Clover who was found with her). DIVA weighs 2.9 pounds and is a little more shy at first, but she has a playful and independent side too. She is perfectly content entertaining herself with any toy she can find, though she still loves wrestling and playing with her sisters. When she wants attention, she happily dances up on her back legs which is just as adorable as it sounds. DIVA loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster's puppy. She would love a home with another young playful dog to help keep her company. After playtime, she is always ready to curl up for a nap beside her favorite people or puppy friends. She is doing very well with using puppy pads and spends her days playing, exploring, wrestling, napping, and repeating the whole routine again. At night, DIVA sleeps quietly in a puppy pen with her sisters. DIVA is already microchipped and has had two sets of puppy vaccines. She needs her third set in about two weeks. That will be handled by the rescue, along with her spay when she is old enough. Her rabies vaccine will also be done at that time and all of that is covered in the adoption fee. Because she is not fully vaccinated yet, DIVA cannot go outside until after her third puppy shot to keep her safe from parvo. Since she has pending vet appointments, she is local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
