Neno (A285129) - The Sweet Boy Who's Running Out of Time to Find His Person Shelter Deadline June 3rd at 4pm! My name is Neno, and I'm a 2 year 8 month old tan and white neutered American Staffordshire Terrier mix, about 55lbs of love, wiggles, and big-hearted energy. I've been at the shelter since September after I was found as a stray, and I've spent the last 8 long months hoping someone would notice me��%BD'��%BD| truly notice me. Outside of my kennel, I'm everything you'd want in a best friend. I walk so nicely on leash, I love people, and I've been friendly with every child I've met here. I'm also a big fan of other dogs-especially playful, friendly girls who like to romp and have fun like I do. Inside the shelter though��%BD'��%BD| it's been getting really hard for me. The noise, the stress, and waiting day after day has started to take a toll. The staff say I've reached my breaking point in here, even though I'm still that affectionate, happy boy once I'm out and about. I don't mean to struggle-I just need a calmer place where I can finally breathe and feel safe again. So I'm waiting here. Still hoping. Still wagging when I see someone coming toward my kennel door.
