Meet Doug - Your Adventure-Loving Best Friend! Doug is a handsome 1-year-old pup weighing about 37 pounds, and he's ready to find a forever family of his own! We believe Doug may be a Manchester Terrier mix, possibly with some Kelpie or American Staffordshire Terrier in his family tree. This happy-go-lucky boy wakes up every day excited to see what adventures await. Doug loves to run, play, and happily chase birds around the yard. If you're looking for a dog to join you on walks, runs, hikes, or outdoor adventures, Doug is always ready to go! Doug does well on a leash and has excellent recall, making him a great candidate for supervised off-leash time on your property. Because of his attentiveness and eagerness to stay close to his people, we think he could make an excellent farm dog or companion for someone with a little room to roam. When playtime is over, Doug settles down nicely indoors. We believe he may have lived as an inside dog at some point because he is calm and well-mannered when he comes inside the house. He enjoys being part of the family and is happy to relax after a day of fun. Doug is also wonderful with other dogs and does great with children, making him a fantastic addition to many different types of families.
