About Marina

This adorable puppy is Marina and she has a very sweet demeanor and personality. She's just 10 months old and weighs 44 pounds so she'll probably be 50 pounds when she's fully grown. We think she's a Staffie & Hound mix but only thing we know for for sure is she's a love-bug! We just rescued Marina from a busy Shelter where she was a 'Tester' dog. As a FYI, 'Tester' dogs are the pups who are the calm and well balanced pups and are very dog friendly and tolerant of other pups. They help the Shelter determine the other dogs' energy level and behavior towards other dogs. As you can see in Marina's video, she's mellow and calm and wags her tail when she meets the other dog. Marina wasn't in the Shelter very long and we rescued her right away when our Shelter contacts said she's a very special and sweet girl who deserves to be in a happy home. We've placed her with a great Foster family and she's enjoying the peace & quiet and playing with her Foster siblings. Her Foster Mom says she's really smart and loves to play and learn new things. We're looking for a great home for Marina. She's loving, affectionate and kind. She's just 10 months old so has some puppy energy but it's not the over the top crazy energy that some puppies have. :) She'll be a great family dog and would love a doggie sibling but could easily be a solo pup with an active family who will give her lots of attention and love. We think she'd love a fully fenced yard but would be fine with a family who will give her lots of walks and exercise.
