Noelle is a very sweet and intelligent pup! She has a lot of typical husky/shepherd traits - intelligent, expressive, energetic, people-oriented, and emotionally sensitive. She can come across as confident at times, but it's more of a 'fake confidence.' She'll often push forward before she actually feels secure, so slowing her down and helping her regulate is very important for her. She's very sweet with her people and has been wonderful with kids, including an 8 year old and twin 1 year olds. She can bark at unfamiliar people/kids sometimes because she lacks confidence, but it's insecurity based and with the training we have been doing, this has been improving a lot. She has never shown aggression toward anyone and has been analyzed by a registered professional to confirm temperament. She does well with other dogs, but she can be socially awkward and sometimes misses dog corrections/cues. She does best with structure and balanced dogs that communicate clearly. She's also been fine with cats here and respects them when they set boundaries. Training-wise, she needs positive reinforcement and structure. No e-collars. Overall she's a very loving, workable dog that bonds deeply with her people. Once she understands your expectations and boundaries, she settles in really nicely and has become a very easy dog in my home. She's currently going through Level 1 training class and doing really well with obedience, leash skills, calm behavior, and confidence building.
