About Athena

Meet Athena - a gorgeous girl with an incredible spirit. Athena came to us after her finder reported that she had been shot in the leg about a month before being brought to the shelter. Despite everything she's endured, Athena has remained nothing but sweet and resilient. Unfortunately, her injury was too severe to save the leg, and she ultimately had to undergo an amputation. But don't tell Athena she's missing anything - this brave girl has adapted beautifully and doesn't let having three legs slow her down one bit! She's ready to leave her painful past behind and find a family who will give her the love, safety, and happy ending she deserves.
