About POPPET

Poppet is a thoughtful, intelligent Schnauzer/Border Collie mix puppy with a calm, independent nature and a silly playful side, too. This scruffy little darling loves toys, enjoys chasing a ball, and is incredibly smart-quickly figuring out enrichment puzzles and games lighting fast. She has learned 'sit,' and is currently working on 'shake' and 'lay down.' Unlike her more attention-demanding pups, Poppet is content to relax on her own (often perched on the back of the couch like the queen she is) and doesn't require constant interaction. She forms gentle, meaningful connections with her hoomans, bonds strongly, and brings a peaceful presence to her environment. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night without accidents, and is doing FABULOUSLY with her potty training. Poppet would do best in a home with older, calmer children and a balance of activity and downtime. (Did we mention that she LOVES car rides, and is beyond perfect in her co-pilot capabilities?) She could thrive as your one and only or with a respectful canine companion.
