About Arlo

Meet Arlo! Born on 2/3/26, this adorable 12 lb. Chihuahua/Dachshund ('chiweenie') mix may be small, but he has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He came to Connecticut from Texas with his brother, Andy, after his mom and some of his siblings were adopted. Now Arlo is ready to find a furever family to call his own. Arlo is everything you'd want in a puppy - playful, curious, affectionate, and full of charm. He loves squeaky toys, playing fetch, exploring outside, and being wherever his people are. After a good play session, he's more than happy to curl up in your arms for cuddles and affection. This sweet boy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is especially respectful of the senior pups in his foster home. He would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion or an active family ready to continue helping him learn and grow. Like any young puppy, Arlo is still working on house training and leash walking, but he's incredibly food motivated, smart, and eager to please. He already responds well to commands like 'no' and 'drop it,' and takes gentle correction very well. Arlo is the perfect mix of adventurous and snuggly, and he's ready to bring endless love, laughter, and puppy kisses to one lucky family! His adoption fee is $500 and Arlo is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered in July when of age so you must return to our vet for that procedure.
