About Sage

My name is Sage and I'm a 10 year old Husky/ Malamute mix. I've been with my same owner since I was 8 weeks old, but she's moving to a different country and can't take me with her. I live with two cats that I'm kind of scared of. I WANT to cuddle and kiss them but they swat at me so I mostly mind my own business. I'm older now, so I lay around a lot, but I LOVE going on walks and hanging out outside whenever I can. I love playing with other dogs but sometimes I get a little territorial. I don't bark at anyone or anything when I'm inside the house (mailmen, other walkers, people ringing the doorbell, ambulances, etc.), but sometimes on walks if I see another dog or some kids I bark from excitement. I just want to say hi and play! Kids really like me; they always want to pet me, but I'd rather sniff the closest street sign. Also, about a year ago a small growth appeared on my forehead but my doctor said it's not dangerous it just comes with age! Overall, I'm a pretty happy, agreeable lady and just want to explore!
