Around a year old, spayed, and full of potential, Roxy is a Catahoula/pitty mix who needs an experienced, confident handler familiar with working breeds and terrier-type personalities. Someone who understands the drive, intensity, and intelligence these breeds bring to the table will be the best fit for her. Roxy is incredibly smart, very trainable, and eager to connect with her people. She is strong willed and lacks confidence, which can present itself as insecurity and overreaction in certain situations. She needs structure, boundaries, continued training, and someone willing to help her channel her energy appropriately. She can be a little apprehensive with strangers initially, but warms up nicely and is very friendly once comfortable. She also absolutely LOVES the water and would thrive with someone active who enjoys getting out and doing things with their dog.
