About LILLY BELLE

LILLY BELLE is a 7 month old, 5.4 pound Chorkie with the sweetest little soul. She came to us after her owner could no longer care for her, and despite not always having the best start, she has so much love to give. When LILLY BELLE first arrived, she was thin and uncomfortable from a flea allergy that had caused itching and some hair loss, but she is already feeling much better and her adorable personality is shining through. LILLY BELLE absolutely adores people and forms attachments quickly. She gives the sweetest hugs and would happily spend hours curled up in your lap soaking up love and attention. While LILLY BELLE enjoys playing with toys and romping around with the other dogs, she is not your typical wild puppy. She has a calm, gentle nature and feels more like an old soul who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. LILLY BELLE gets along wonderfully with the small dogs in her foster home and would love another playful companion in her new home. Right now that is what we are hoping to find for her. She loves toys so much that she gathers them into little piles around her. We think older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog would be fine for her. Cats are unknown. LILLY BELLE has done wonderfully with house training when kept on a regular potty schedule with her foster siblings. She has not yet been leash walked, but she is learning new things every day and is eager to please. She can even use the dog stairs like a pro. At night, LILLY BELLE sleeps in the big bed curled close to her person. LILLY BELLE is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, is on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
