About Kaido

Say hello to our 'little' friend!! It's Kaido, coming in hot from Knoxville, TN. At about 83 pounds, this 2-year old boy came into rescue when his owner went into custody, and so far it's going okay. A family member took him in but knew he needed more space and a better family life, so welcomed him with a plan to do exactly that. He's integrated pretty easily with his foster pack of medium and large male & female dogs, however trying to introduce him to new dogs there has not proved successful. He would be great as an only dog or with someone very dog savvy to make introductions successful. Also, vet visits will need to be closely controlled. Kaido has not been cat tested, but would be fine with dog-savvy older kids. Other than his dogs-in HIS-house issue, he's a great dog! Kaido is crate trained, he's a great car rider, and is really a sweet boy. He only knows sit, and he's a little inexperienced on a leash, so he'll need some help on both obedience and walking while attached. Kaido is VERY velcro and doesn't tear stuff up if left out while you are gone. Granted, this is in a home with many dogs so not sure about any separation anxiety if he is the only dog.
