About Amelia *chained to a t

This beautiful girl named Amelia was reported to animal control in Memphis TN as being chained to a tree. Not only was she chained to a tree, she was also starved and you could see most of her bones. Animal Control brought Amelia to the shelter and She thought she was safe, only to realize they only hold dogs for 3 days. Today Amelia was supposed to lose her life. But that wasn't meant to be. A nice volunteer drove over and picked her up and took her home. This is very temporary because he already has multiple dogs and cannot keep Amelia. He is reporting that she is very happy and loveable. Despite all she's been through she seems very friendly with people and dogs. She also loves chasing a ball. Amelia is 4 yrs old and only 28 lbs! She is vaccinated and will be spayed before adoption. We have a program lined up for her heartworm treatment as well.
