About RAMBLE - NYC ResQ Pit

RAMBLE, a young affectionate Pitbull-mix, was left alone in a New York City tenement for days without food or water before she was discovered and the truth emerged that her 'owner' had taken off and intentionally abandoned her. Surviving this ordeal should have brought relief but it was only the beginning of another nightmare for RAMBLE who ended up being dumped by police at the notorious city kill pound that routinely neglects and exterminates healthy dogs and cats simply because killing animals is easier than adopting them. Luckily, caring rescue volunteers acted quickly to avert tragedy, and saved RAMBLE's life in the eleventh hour, and RAMBLE has been thriving in a foster home ever since. But RAMBLE's foster is elderly and is having serious health problems, so we are running out of time to find a forever home for RAMBLE's happily-ever-after. Despite her early experience with such lousy people, RAMBLE still shows only love to every human being she meets, including complete strangers and children of all ages. RAMBLE would make the perfect family dog, though she would probably have to be your one and only, because she doesn't know how to relate to other dogs or cats, and has never been socialized with either. An extremely affectionate and loving dog, RAMBLE is instantly responsive to her loved ones with whom she bonds intensely. RAMBLE is as smart as a whip, knows all the basic commands and learns new ones very quickly. RAMBLE is fully house-trained, spayed, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health.
