Jackee was discovered in a vulnerable state by one of our volunteers while feeding, in the middle of nowhere in Bakersfield CA, alone, covered in lesions and infested with ticks while scavenging for food. Given her dire condition, we could not abandon her, and after completing her legal stray hold and receiving the necessary medical treatment, she is now ready to start a new chapter in her life. Jackee has a calm and affectionate demeanor, making her a wonderful companion. She interacts well with other dogs and people, although we have not yet tested her with cats or children. Jackee is looking for her forever home.
