About Kiko

Kiko is looking for his last loving home Meet Kiko - a sweet, gentle giant with the kindest soul and so much love to give. Kiko grew up on a large beautiful farm in Turner, Oregon alongside goats he enjoyed a wealth of freedom, then was rehomed to his family with children in Salem where he had a big fenced yard and was very loved. Sadly, that family experienced a major loss and are no longer able to care for him. He's currently being fostered in Fairview, but because there isn't a fenced yard he isn't getting the outdoor roaming time he really enjoys and deserves. A little about Kiko: Gentle giant with a very sweet disposition. Great with other dogs, cats & kids. Housebroken - can be indoors for extended periods with no accidents. Does well with a harness on leash and enjoys jogging. Loves car rides. Loves being near his people, super snuggly. Costco Kirkland Lamb is his current food Kiko definitely has some personality too - he moves like a sloth most of the time, but can become surprisingly fast if there's unattended food nearby or an open door or window. He previously experienced severe dehydration and starvation, so he's still working through some food insecurity, no food aggression. He's making great progress, but food can't be left within reach unless you're happy sharing your plate family-style with him. We've been working through his undercoat as it was severely matted and have given him a few haircuts and baths (luckily he's so patient because I'm definitely not a groomer as you can see in his photo), but he still needs some TLC: flea treatment, ear care, and a nail trim. He's been through a lot and has remained incredibly loving through all of it. Kiko is such a sweet old man and deserves a calm, caring home where he can feel safe, loved, and enjoy his golden years.
