Seeking experienced placement or rescue assistance for a spayed adult Australian Cattle Dog / Heeler. Due to a recent move into an apartment at this stage of life, I am no longer able to provide the environment she truly needs to succeed long term. My goal is to find an experienced, appropriate placement rather than wait for the situation to become more stressful for her. She is: �'ۢ spayed �'ۢ current on vaccines �'ۢ house trained �'ۢ accustomed to indoor living with regular outdoor exercise and potty breaks �'ۢ very loyal and bonded with her people Behaviorally, she needs an experienced home with structure, consistency, patience, and management awareness. She is dog-reactive/selective on leash and should be placed as the only pet. She also has a high prey drive and is not appropriate for homes with cats or small to medium animals. Her ideal placement would include: �'ۢ experienced herding-breed handling �'ۢ secure fencing/privacy fence or safely fenced acreage �'ۢ room for daily physical and mental exercise �'ۢ calm, structured household �'ۢ no other pets She does well indoors and is used to being brought inside during extreme weather. She is intelligent, observant, and very devoted once bonded. I understand she is not a fit for every home, and I want to be upfront so she can be matched responsibly and safely. I am happy to discuss her behaviors, routines, strengths, and management needs in detail with experienced adopters, rescues, or foster-based organizations.
