Bentley is a super cute young guy of approximately 4 yrs and weighs 11 lbs. He is a miniature Poodle mix, but we are not 100% sure on the mix. My guess is that he is a Maltipoo as his hair can get pretty long and soft. He does require grooming. Bentley is very friendly and he loves to go to new places. He is great on leash and rides very well in the car. Bentley is not a super fast bond, but when he does bond, its very strong. He is currently fostered with several large and small dogs as well as a couple of indoor cats. Bentley was a marker when he first arrived with us. He was not neutered and was never potty trained. Admitted, it took quite some time to get him potty trained after his neuter. That said, when he goes to another house, he will attempt to mark. We also took him to Tractor Supply once and he tried to mark. He does not mark in his foster home, at all, but I cannot guarantee that he wont try in a new home. He will have to be watched in the beginning, but I do feel that he will catch on that like he has here. He currently sleeps in the fosters bed with another small dog and he likes to sleep near the foot of the bed. Bentley is not much for toys, but he is a huge foodie and loves his snacks and treats. While he does tolerate being carried, Bentley prefers to move around on his own. He does love to cuddle on the couch, but he is no couch potato and would benefit with a family that gives him plenty of exercise. He would do well in a family of other pets or as the only pet. Bentley came to our rescue in pretty rough shape, but that is all behind him now. He is missing an eye, but that doesnt slow him down at all. Contact me if you'd like to hear the rest of his survivor story. We require and application for our adoptions. Out of state transport can be arranged at the adopters expense.
