About Major

Major is a handsome male poodle mix, about 4 years old and weighing 65 lbs. He's very friendly and eager for love and attention. He enjoys taking walks and riding in the car. He is house trained and good in a crate/kennel but may need a little time to adapt to the routines in a new home. He is affectionate, responsive, and eager to please! Major has been very good with other dogs in his foster home. Due to his size and playfulness, he would probably be best with older children. He has shown some keen interest in cats, so he would need some supervision with them to begin. A home with a large, physically fenced yard would be ideal. Major came to us with a mild case of a condition called entropion. His eyelids roll inward a bit, causing irritation to his eyes. Our vet says it's a borderline case that might be managed with ointment, but surgery is also an option. And, like all doodles, he will need regular grooming. So, he's looking for a family that is able to invest in his health and care. You will be repaid with a lifetime of love and fun! Major is neutered and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
