About Maddie

Maddie's journey has been one of the most rewarding transformations to watch. When Maddie first came into foster care, she was unsure of the world and needed time to feel safe. Fast forward almost two months and this sweet girl has truly started to shine. She's discovered that people can be kind, couches are cozy, and ear scratches might just be one of life's greatest joys. Maddie is affectionate, cuddly, and once she trusts you, she forms a beautiful bond. She's house trained, crate trained, and enjoys the comfort of having a routine. She's no longer the scared little girl she once was and seeing her confidence grow has been incredible. Maddie will likely need a little patience as she adjusts to a new home. Change can be hard for sensitive dogs and she may take a step back at first while she settles in. But if her new family gives her time, space, and lets her open up at her own pace, she will reward them with a loyal, loving companion.
