Meet Marshall: The Tripod Titan with a Heart of Gold Location: Colleyville, TX DOB: 4/17/24 Marshall is an approximately 1-2-year-old Harlequin Great Dane weighing in at a lean 85 pounds of love, loyalty, and just a tiny bit of dramatic concern over household appliances. This handsome boy had a difficult start in life and lost one of his legs, but don't bother telling Marshall he's any different. He runs, plays, zooms, and explores with so much joy and determination that you quickly forget he's rocking the three-wheel-drive model. In Marshall's world, three legs are more than enough to live life to the fullest. While he may look like a giant, majestic Dane, Marshall is actually a sensitive sweetheart underneath it all. Vacuum cleaners? Terrifying. Garden hoses? Highly suspicious. Random noises? Clearly dangerous. He's basically an 85-pound baby deer wrapped up in a giant dog body, and honestly, it just makes him even more lovable. When he's not bravely surviving the horrors of modern household life, Marshall's favorite thing in the world is being close to his people. Very close. Personal space is not something he believes in. If you sit down, expect a giant spotted shadow to join you immediately. If you're walking around the house, he'll happily supervise every task. And if you're sleeping, Marshall fully intends to provide overnight cuddle-based security services. Marshall is a gentle, affectionate soul who has shown himself to be wonderfully patient around smaller dogs, even the loud, opinionated ones who believe they are personally responsible for neighborhood security. He seems to take it all in stride with quiet curiosity and kindness. Despite everything he's been through, Marshall approaches life with resilience, sweetness, and a goofy charm that's impossible not to adore. He's the kind of dog who makes people laugh one minute and melt into a puddle of affection the next. Marshall would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. He would do best with people who understand that beneath his giant size is a very sensitive boy who sometimes needs reassurance when the world feels overwhelming. A home with another calm, friendly dog could be a wonderful fit, especially one that can help show him the ropes without overwhelming him. Because he loves companionship so much, Marshall would be happiest with a family where someone is home often or where he won't be left alone for long periods. Most of all, Marshall is looking for a family that will embrace his goofy fears, celebrate his resilience, and shower him with the love he so freely gives in return. Warning: Adopting Marshall may result in excessive snuggling, a permanent giant shadow following you through the house, and frequently explaining to guests why your enormous dog is hiding from the vacuum cleaner. =============================================================================== To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .
